Rental terms

The rules of the rental, in plain words rather than at the bottom of a contract.

Who can drive

The minimum age is 21, and it can differ by vehicle — each vehicle page states the age that applies to it. Your licence must have been held for at least 2 years. There is no young-driver surcharge.

An EU licence is accepted as it is. Drivers resident outside the EU need an international driving permit alongside their own licence. Any official identity document is accepted at handover.

An additional driver can be added for €20, charged once for the whole rental rather than per day, and must meet the same requirements as the main driver.

Mileage

Each rental includes 200 km per day. The allowance is pooled across the whole rental rather than capped day by day, so a quiet day carries over to a long one. Beyond the allowance the charge is €0.20 per kilometre.

Deposit

A refundable deposit is held for the duration of the rental. The amount depends on the vehicle — most of the fleet is €250, and each vehicle page states its own figure.

Pay it in cash or bank transfer. Returned within a couple of days of the vehicle coming back, once it has been checked and no damage is found.

Insurance

Insurance is included in every rate, along with roadside assistance 24 hours a day.

What the insurance covers varies from vehicle to vehicle, so it is not stated as a single rule here. Tell us which vehicle you want and we will explain exactly what applies to it before you book.

Fuel

Like for like. The vehicle is handed over with a certain amount of fuel and should come back with the same. If it comes back short, we charge for the missing litres.

Delivery, collection and late return

You choose where the vehicle is collected and where it comes back, and the two need not be the same place. Each point carries its own charge, shown when you book.

Your hotel or any other address is agreed with you rather than fixed, because it depends where you are. Tell us and we will price it before anything is confirmed.

Collections and returns run from 9:00 to 20:00. We answer messages at any hour, but the vehicle changes hands inside those.

On a late return there is a grace period of 1 hour. Beyond that, a further full day is charged.

Changes and cancellation

A booking can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of paying. After that the 15% reservation payment is not refundable. If you paid the full amount up front, we deduct only that 15% and return the rest.

A no-show is not refunded, whether you paid in part or in full. Dates can be moved after confirmation if the fleet is free on the new dates; if it is not, the refund rule above applies.

Where the vehicle may be taken

Anywhere in mainland Spain. The Spanish islands are excluded, and ferries to the Balearics are not permitted. The quad and the Z-Force may be ridden anywhere in Spain, legally.

Traffic fines and tolls

A traffic fine is registered against the person who rented the vehicle rather than against the vehicle itself, so it reaches you directly. Tolls are paid in cash at the gates as you drive.

Breakdown and accidents

Roadside assistance is included, 24 hours a day. Call us on +34 611 000 960 or +34 644 104 598 at any hour.

After an accident a police report is required before a claim can be processed. We will provide a replacement vehicle where one is free in the fleet.

Payment

We accept cash, card, bank transfer and PayPal. You can pay 15% when you reserve and the balance when we hand the vehicle over, or pay the whole amount up front.

The card does not have to be in the main driver's name. All prices include IVA. We issue an invoice on request.
