Questions
Questions, answered
The things people ask before every booking.
How do I book?
Pick your dates on any vehicle page, tell us who is renting, and pay — 15% to hold the car, or the whole rental if you prefer. The vehicle is yours from the moment the payment goes through, and your confirmation arrives by email. We do not hold a car without a payment, because a car held for somebody who has not paid is a car we cannot rent to anybody.
What is included in the price?
Insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance. The insurance cover varies from vehicle to vehicle, so ask about the one you want. An additional driver is €20 and a child seat is €10, each charged once for the whole rental rather than per day. Delivery and collection are agreed with you when you book.
How do I pay?
Cash, card, bank transfer and PayPal. You can pay 15% when you book and the balance when we hand the car over, or pay the whole amount up front. The card does not have to be in the main driver's name. Prices include IVA, and your invoice comes with the confirmation email.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Cancel free of charge within 24 hours of paying. After that the 15% reservation payment is not refundable — and if you paid in full, we deduct only that 15% and return the rest. A no-show is not refunded. Dates can be moved if the fleet is free on the new dates; if it is not, the refund rule above applies.
How much is the deposit?
€250 for most of the fleet, refundable. It varies by vehicle, so the figure on each vehicle page is the one that applies. Pay it in cash or bank transfer. Returned within a couple of days of the vehicle coming back, once it has been checked and no damage is found.
How many kilometres do I get?
200 km per day, pooled across the whole rental rather than capped day by day. Beyond that it is €0.20 per kilometre.
What is the fuel policy?
Like for like. Bring the car back with the fuel it left with. If it comes back short, we charge for the missing litres.
How old do I need to be, and which licence do you accept?
21 is the minimum age, and it can differ by vehicle — each vehicle page states its own. Your licence must have been held for at least 2 years. An EU licence is accepted as it is; drivers resident outside the EU need an international permit. Any official identity document is fine at handover. There is no young-driver surcharge.
Where am I allowed to take the car?
Anywhere in mainland Spain. The Spanish islands are excluded and ferries to the Balearics are not permitted. The quad and the Z-Force may be ridden anywhere in Spain, legally.
Will you deliver the car to me?
Yes. We deliver to your hotel, the airport, Joaquín Sorolla station, the port, or any address you give us, and collect it the same way. You pick the collection and return points when you book, and they do not have to be the same place. Each point carries its own charge, shown beside it. Your hotel or another address is agreed with you rather than fixed, because it depends where you are — tell us and we will price it before anything is confirmed.
What times can I collect and return the car?
Between 9:00 and 20:00, any day. Messages are answered at any hour, but the vehicle itself changes hands inside those times, so that somebody is there to hand you the keys.
Is there a minimum rental?
Most vehicles have none: one day is a rental. A few are set to a minimum, and where one applies the vehicle's page states it and the booking form will say so rather than quietly charging you for days you did not ask for.
What happens if I bring it back late?
There is a 1-hour grace period. Beyond that a further full day is charged.
What does the insurance cover?
Insurance is included in every rate. What it covers varies from vehicle to vehicle, so ask us about the car you want and we will tell you exactly what applies to it.
Who pays traffic fines and tolls?
A traffic fine is registered against the person who rented the car, not against the vehicle, so it comes to you directly. Tolls are paid in cash at the gates as you drive.
What do I do if there is a breakdown or an accident?
Call us on either of the numbers on this site, at any hour. Roadside assistance is included. For an accident we need a police report before a claim can go through, and we will provide a replacement vehicle if one is free in the fleet.
What is the cheapest vehicle you have?
The Citroën C3 at €24 a day, insurance included.
What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian, 24 hours a day.
